The Princess Y72, the most compact yacht in the Y Class range, won the prestigious Motor Boat Awards 2022. The Princess Y72 is an example of how the British shipyard knows how to work with space. Minor changes in the layout compared to the larger models in the range demonstrate that with clever space planning, a 25-metre yacht will feel like a much bigger vessel. For instance, the galley on the Princess Y72 has been moved to the saloon entrance. This freed up space for a comfortable lounge and a proper dining area. And two of the four cabins on the main deck share a bathroom – a minor compromise in terms of comfort, but a major step towards freeing up space, particularly to make both the cabins and bathrooms more convenient.
